Promoting Health in Nature: Past, Present and Future
Hosted by Nature Vancouver
May 10 - 13, 2018
Whether you are coming by car from south of the George Massey Tunnel, from east of Vancouver via ighway 1 or from north of Vancouver via Highway BC-99 or BC-1A we've driving directions for you! And, if you are headed to Ponderosa Commons, we've got that covered too!
Long ago there was no transit into UBC - just a very few Model A's. Bet there were lots of bicycles too! But now there are B-Line buses that come to UBC from many Metro Vancouver communities (they only stop at a few main intersections on their way to campus), trolley buses and there are dedicated two dedicated bus routes at UBC as well.
UBC has pay parking or permit parking....& a few free short-term (two hour) or all day parking areas, and we know where!
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner ?
Museums, Gardens, Forest Walks, Golf, Swimming - UBC has it all!
Nature Vancouver has planned a wonderful program of events at this AGM. All meetings will take place at the UBC Forest Sciences Centre, just a short walk away from the Ponderosa Commons accommodation. We look forward to receiving your registration package.
Note: We have PayPal on this conference website for your convenience.
We are pleased to have been able to arrange room accommodation at UBCs Ponderosa Commons student residence, a short walk from the Forest Sciences Centre.
UBC Conferences is taking care of booking your reservation.
Covered parkade pay parking is located close by the Ponderosa Commons accommodation & there also is a surface level pay parking lot beside the Forest Sciences Centre that can accommodate overheight vehicles (sorry, no overnighting allowed in vehicles at UBC).
We're sure you'll have a hard time deciding which speaker sessions you want to attend. Have a look at the descriptions and make your choices!
